maintenance

I’m not in college anymore because my parents make too much money according to fafsa, and my parents would rather buy new cars, televisions, guns, purses, and stuff we don’t need than to pay for tuition. So after being force to move back home, they’re trying to kick me out again. At least before I had options, after coming back home things have gotten worse. I tried to visit my friends in my college town for the weekend, my car broke down. Not only did they not help me pay for the towing or the work being done, but they’re going to bitch at me for the rest of the weekend. This weekend was supposed to be fun and relaxing it has now turned into a night where I drink a whole bottle of wine and hope I pass out.

Umm….maybe you should try getting a job that offers tuition reimbursement and go to school part time. If you really care about getting your education then go get it. It’s obvious that it isn’t that important to your parents and/or they are trying to teach you to be responsible for yourself. Your parents spent your whole life paying your way. It’s their choice how they spend their money. If you are unapprecaitive and act like you are just entitled to have them pay for college….no wonder they won’t.

You have choices – 1. Approach your parents and ask if you could “share” tuition costs. 2. Get a job – save up and go back to school after you have money for tuition 3. Get a job that helps pay for your tuition.

Quit being a whiny fucking brat and do something about it instead of blaming your parents!
