I’m so stupid.
I’m in marching band. I’m going into my sophmore year, and my little sister is going into 8th grade.
My bands pit is in need of extra kids to play more parts. So my sister decided to try it out. Me and my boyfriend were excited at first, but then I started thinking about it. We’d have to drag her to lunch with us, and she’d always bug us on the busses to competitions and parades. My boyfriend and I would never get time to ourselves anymore. It’s his last year in band, and I just ruined it for him.
I know she’d be playing on the side lines while I marched, but she’d still complain. And then she’d drop pit like everything else she’s ever done.
Why I got so excited, I don’t know. She shouldn’t even be joining until next year.
