I guess things always are too good to be true.
Just when, for once, things started to go my way, everything went down the drain. I was so happy. Had a vision of a brighter future for myself. Now it’s gone.

what could possibly give you the impression that your brighter future is gone? things sucked once then they got better. now they suck again apparently. things will get better again.
