Et tu, Brute?

It had to be right in front of me. He had to ask her out right in front of me. She had to say yes.

People are lying when they say, “I’m happy as long as she’s happy.” I’m not happy as long as she’s happy. I’m ecstatic if she’s happy with me; I’m decent if she’s happy alone; but if she’s happy with him, I’m the farthest thing from.

Be happy with him if you want! Just don’t be happy with him right in front of me. I just can’t watch it. Why can’t you see that?

He doesn’t deserve her, you know. He’s a stupid, terrible person. He’s a jerk, and he should just never talk to her again! Except that’s not true. Maybe he doesn’t deserve her, but does anyone? If not him, who?

If it hadn’t been right there. If I hadn’t known, hadn’t heard. I could deal with it then, you know? But it had to be right in front of me.

you can’t really be pissed about someone else asking out the girl you’re in love with if you never asked her out yourself.
you have two options: sit idly by while the girl you love dates other guys or be the guy she is dating. pop quiz hot shot, what are you going to do?
