I love you. I lovelovelove you. But I don’t love who I am when I’m with you. You constantly put me down with your judgements and rude remarks. I am wonderful. I deserve better than this. Everyone told us that we were too different to make this work, and maybe they’re right. Maybe we are two completely different people who love each other, but our differences no longer intrigue us – they only annoy us. You want someone who is more adventurous and outgoing, and I need someone who isn’t a perfectionist all the time. Life is messy, life is about making risks. I love you, but I am tired of trying to always impress you. We’ve been together for long enough that we should be comfortable with who we are. I am tired of being hurt. I am tired of crying.
