Looking for a job sucks!
Used to be you picked up the daily paper, went to the classifieds, circled what you were qualified for and started making the rounds. Now its all online and very impersonal. Having to wade through all the spam listings of “work at home” crap, none of which could actually be called a legitimate job. Post your resume in a thousand different places, and get spammed to death. Not one of the jobs I’ve been offered has been legitimate. And not one of them have been in the field(s) I’ve been looking for. I swear if I get one more email or phone call about becoming a life insurance agent (with a very disreputable company) or offers of being a money transfer officer (yeah like I wanna go to jail for cashing bogus checks) I may blow a gasket.

Yes! I can totally relate as I’m experiencing the same thing and feel as if I am getting nowhere. Don’t you love those ads that specifically keep it impersonal by stating “no calls about the job”. Geez!
